| Pre Qualification
criteria: |
1 Bidder’s Eligibility
1.1 Bids should be made by actual manufacturers.
1.2 Bids from sole selling agents/ authorized distributors/ authorized supply houses can also be considered subject to furnishing of following certificates:
(i) Back-up authority letter from the manufacturer (as per proforma at appendix-…. of annexure-… of bidding document) authorizing the bidder to market their product provided further that such authorization is valid at the time of making bid and further must remain valid during execution of the entire order.
(ii) An undertaking from the Manufacturer to provide the back-up warranty cover meeting the requirement of clause no…..of the General terms and conditions at Annexure-… alongwith the supplies.
(iii) The bidder shall also confirm to provide the warranty cover from the manufacturer as per clause no. of General terms and conditions at Annexure-…. alongwith the supplies.
2 Bidder’s Experience :
(a) Bidder should have a minimum 03 (three) years of experience of manufacturing the material. For this purpose the period reckoned shall be the period prior to the date of opening of the techno-commercial bid.
Documentary evidence for the same should be enclosed along with the request letter for issuance of tender document.
(b) Bidder should have manufactured and successfully supplied a minimum quantity of 12 MT of Ethyl Mercaptan to various companies / Oil & Gas specific companies during the last 03 (three) years.
In support of fulfilling the above the bidder must submit all necessary documents such as copy of purchase order and Excise invoice, inspection report / test certificate giving the complete details or the certificate from the client etc..
Note: In case the bidder is an entity other than manufacturer (as covered under clause 1.2 above), then the bidder is required to furnish documentary evidence in respect of above from the manufacturer ( whose product is being offered against the current tender) and submit the same alongwith techno-commercial bid.

Prospective bidders who claim to meet the Pre-qualification criteria as stipulated above must sent their request alongwith all documentary evidence asked in pre-qualification criteria so as to reach this office latest by 09.08.2010. The tender document will be issued free of cost to those bidders who meets pre-qualification criteria . Request for issue of tender document received after 09.08.2010 shall be ignored. ONGC is not responsible for any postal delay. |
